Fresh Start Furnishings is a Harford County based nonprofit focused on the mission of transforming empty houses into homes by providing furniture and home goods at no cost to individuals and families in need. Their insights have provided crucial feedback in the design and content of the Harford Helps resource directory.
Thank you to HarfordTV, a media outlet serving Harford County citizens, providing educational, governmental and public interest programming to inform, educate, entertain and promote a sense of community.
Thank you to Harford County Living, a veteran-owned local news outlet with a focus on POSITIVE news in our community. Harford County Living is a website to promote local businesses, events, people and the beauty of Harford County.
Thank you to the Harford Family Assistance Fund, the only nonprofit in Harford County formed to assist Department of Social Service programs that protect children against abuse or neglect, enable vulnerable children and adults to obtain emergency housing, medical care or supplies, or other services providing survival or self-sufficiency.
Thank you to the Hope Center of Maryland, whose mission is to bring Hope to those in need within our community. Through collaborative efforts, the Hope Center is collecting food and other essential staples and distributing these products to a network of community beneficiaries.
