Lifeline is a federally-sponsored program that provides a discount on communication services to eligible individuals and families. Eligibility is determined by income and/or participation in state or Federal support programs. Through Lifeline, SafeLink subscribers are eligible to receive a mobile phone and a monthly discount on their service.
